We needed a house for Peter where he could have a downstairs bedroom & bathroom for the future. But we also wanted our bedroom to be down stairs so Peter would never be on his own. We could never have left our wee man downstairs by himself. We didnt have enough land at the side or back of our 4 bed semi to have both! It was then we made the very painful choice that we would move. We loved our home & our neighbors but most of all our daughters loved our home and their friends. We tried to make it as painless as possible so we kept them at their schools to be with their friends at a time when am sure the world seemed crazy to them. The only house we could get with our basic needs and within our price range was in need of much repair. I broke my heart when we moved into that house the way family and friends looked at us, and it, as if we had made the biggest mistake of our lives...but we had to for Peter! Peter's Daddy and Uncle worked for months making the house what we needed. I love our home now and Peter has very much stayed within it! We make him part of everything we do. He will always be part of our family and our home. He knows I could never go on if he left us. Not everyone understands this but not everyone has been through what we have ...looking in on a situation is totally different than being in a situation!
