A unconditional love!

No matter what was going on in our lives Peter taught us an unconditional love that we had never known nor are we likely to meet again! His eye's showed a love and trust that I had never witnessed before, all babies have to trust their carers to a certain extent. When a child who is not capable of doing the most simple things looks at you, it is their soul you view!...(I remember one day standing in the kitchen preparing dinner. Peter was beside me in his pram I looked over at him for a little check, there was a fly on his nose...I remember thinking how good he was that the fly didnt bother him. Then in a flash it came to me he couldn't move the fly that was why it was sitting there. It was then I realised that Peter and I would become one!.. from here on and for the rest of my life I would be Peter's voice, his limbs & anything else my precious wee man needed me for. ( It may sound silly but that fly broke my heart!) Peter never asked for anything in his short life, he just wanted to be cuddled and entertained and we as his family just wanted to love him, to have fun and to make sure he knew what a special part of our family he is...It was such a privilege that he picked us to be his family! we were so blessed to have this little boy that we had waited so long for and yet we were still unaware we were being visited by an angel.
